"In my life I have seen hundreds of images showing beautiful landscapes, some of them so amazing that they take your breath away: the violence of a storm wave crashing on the rocks, a sunset that draws a symphony of colors like a painting, the peace of a silent snowy forest. I always envied the photographers who shoted them. At first, I tried to imitate them several times with poor results and I felt failing each time. Over the years, experience allowed me to partially compensate this gap but, although people complimented my shots, I did not feel so satisfied. Now I know it was not a lack of technique or taste, but simply a small difference in focus. All I need  is a human being in my field of vision."

Amaro is an Italian photographer and post-producer based in Liguria, nearby Cinque Terre.

Since he holded a camera for the first time he has always been interested in people 360 degrees. He works in several areas such as wedding and commercial photography,  studio portraiture, conceptual and artistic projects.

Over the years, he has also been actively involved in the editorial field, collaborating with non-profit organizations, newspapers and universities for publishing images and articles on current, health and social issues.​
